Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name and email address, along with the information you choose to add to your casting profile. Profile information may include contact details, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, occupation, physical characteristics, relationship status, location, biography, show interests, media experience, skills, social links, and photos.

We also store your favorite shows, privacy and notification preferences, and listing reports, including the reason and any notes you submit. If casting contact requests are available to your account, we store those requests and your responses. Please avoid including unnecessary personal information in report notes.

Our hosting and authentication provider may process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to operate and secure the service. The current app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.

How We Use Information

We use your information to create and secure your account, save your preferences, display casting opportunities, operate your casting profile, provide support, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Casting Visibility

You control whether your casting profile is Private or Discoverable for Casting. A private profile is not shown in the casting directory.

Approved casting professionals may view discoverable profile information, including your photos, age, city and state, biography, characteristics, interests, experience, skills, social links, and travel availability. The directory uses your first name and last initial and does not display your email address, phone number, or exact date of birth. Information you put in your biography, photos, or social links may still identify you or reveal contact details. You can change your visibility at any time.

How Information Is Shared

We use Supabase for authentication, database hosting, and profile-photo storage. We share the information needed for those services with that provider. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer.

Application links lead to third-party websites. Information you submit on those websites is governed by their own privacy policies, not this policy.

Photos and Device Storage

When you choose to add a profile photo, the app opens your photo library so you can select an image. Selected photos are uploaded to private storage; access is restricted to your account and authorized casting access. We do not upload your entire photo library.

The app stores sign-in session information, cached favorites, casting-alert selections, and unsent listing reports on your device or in browser storage. Unsent reports may be submitted when you sign in. Device storage can persist after signing out or deleting an account; clearing the app’s storage or browser site data removes those local copies.

Storage, Security, and Retention

We use access controls and private photo storage designed to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Account and profile data are retained while your account exists. Listing reports and casting requests are retained to operate those features until removed with the associated account or otherwise deleted. Service-provider backups and security logs may remain for the provider’s applicable retention period and are not necessarily erased immediately when an account is deleted.

Your Choices

You can edit your profile, remove or replace photos, make your profile private, and change preferences in the app. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete account. This removes your sign-in account, profile, uploaded profile photos, saved shows, and associated database records, including listing reports. Deletion cannot be undone. The backup, log, and local-device limitations described above still apply.

Children

Get On A Show is not directed to children under 13. A parent or legal guardian should supervise any minor using the service and review the eligibility rules of each casting opportunity.

Policy Changes and Contact

Studio accounts and website use

Studio access applications include your name, company, work email, website, and role. We use these details to review requests for casting access. This website uses Supabase authentication and stores sign-in session information in your browser. Only approved casting members may access the discoverable-profile directory.
